Leading in Conflicts

Resolving conflicts is important. But you can also use conflicts to get better solutions – and you can learn how to do this. A culture where conflict exists but respect is not lost is fertile soil for high quality outcomes and innovation.

In this training course you will intensely explore the way you deal with conflicts. You will learn, when and why it is necessary to open up a conflict. You will learn and practice different strategies for assertiveness and defence. You will learn the methods of non-violent communication, reflect on your attitude towards conflicts and you will practice how to really be present in conflicts. You will learn methods to promote transparency and find solutions that really solve situations.

  • Test: How far do you really want to go to reach your goal?
  • Background knowledge: Areas of conflict, styles and the stages of escalation
  • Assertive strategies: Using good arguments, fair play and “rhetoric poison”
  • Presence: Where the power in conflicts comes from: clarity, resolution and a well-founded point of view
