There is a new face at ComTeam: Dr. Tanja Gloger
A very warm welcome to you, Tanja! Since the beginning of June you are supporting us here at ComTeam. How did you find us?
A competing company to ComTeam here in Bavaria - which we won’t name – told me about your training program. But what really convinced me at the end, was the impression I got when I was here for a visit. And of course, I want to learn from the best!
What were the important stages in your development?
On my way through life so far – which lasted almost 29 years now – what influenced me mostly were my studies in psychology and the conferral of a doctorate in business psychology where I wrote on the compatibility of family and profession. And I also don’t want to miss the time I took for orienting and finding myself between finishing school and the start of my studies at the university. Back then I worked as a security person at rock concerts, did practical training with TV and film productions and studied the history of art for two semesters. Also the practical training during my studies in a psychosomatic clinic in the Allgäu area and with a sports psychologist in Zurich has been quite influential on my personal and professional development.
I got a look behind the time-punch machine when working in the human resources department of a bank in the time between my studies and graduation. The work covered among other things the conceptualization and realization of several seminars on subjects like leadership, conflicts, personality or work-life-balance, as well as the reworking of the assessment center for the apprentices. But the most important stage always is the one I am in at the present time, and right now this is ComTeam.
What is your first impression of ComTeam?
Of course it is a good one; otherwise I would not be here. But most of all I am surprised about the way how openly and honestly people interact.
What are you looking forward to the most during this year?
I am looking forward to many exciting and diversified learning and practice experiences, which I actually cannot get enough of. And I am looking forward to working together with different trainers and consultants here. During the first three weeks I took part in three open seminars here in Gmund, which made me really hungry for more.
What do you like to do in your spare time?.
What I do in my spare time? When living in such a wonderful spot on earth, you do not need any spare time…. (She is laughing…) Earnestly: In my youth I went in for sports a lot, even competitive sports, and I did figure skating, athletics, rhythmical gymnastics, ballet, step dance and horse riding. So now I really enjoy just taking simple walks in the woods with my partner, bicycling, going to the sauna or doing some easy work-out. And I like going to the theatre and reading the crime stories of Georges Simenon.
What is it you really want us to know?
Well, that’s the fact that by a fraction of an inch I would have become a set designer in film and TV productions and that is why my favorite TV series is “Strum der Liebe” (Storm of Love)……
Thank you very much, Tanja, and we are glad to have your support here!
