ComTeamForum2008: Companies in Change

You are a professional who deals with the facilitation and development of “people and organizations”? On April 18, you have the chance to discuss relevant topics in the field of consulting and training. And you can choose those which interest you most.
Here are the topics we will prepare:
- True Change: Change Processes- are they as bad as their reputation?
The ComTeam Study 2008 started already. The question we ask is what is truly the experience of those involved in change? We will present the results and will discuss the conclusions with you.
- Personal Change: If you look for a way to make better use of your energy, you should get to know your capacities, your potentials and your limits. We will offer you the ComTeam Personality-Structure Model which you can try out in a survey.
- Management and Job Satisfaction:Many studies show that the employees’ de-motivation is the executive’s “fault” (GALLUP:”Only 13 % of all employees like to go to work”). But what are the working conditions of the executives who are held responsible?
- Leadership: Again the leadership models are changing right now: “Leadership as a brand” and “Leadership Teams versus Leadership Heroes” are issues being discussed in this context. What is the model the executives follow in your organization?
- Power in Change Processes: Between the demand for participation and the will to implement: the subject of power is often quite unclear in change processes and this limits the progress of the process and the participation likewise. How you can clarify the question of power as a consultant or a manager is a question we would like to discuss with you.
- Tools and Methods: Sometimes fashionable tools and sometimes solid craftsmanship, all this is used for analysis and process control. Are there any trends in the methods used? What stands the test of time and what does not? To discuss this, we will organize a discussion round and share which methods we preferably use in our projects.
- SolutionsFocus: Quite often, solutions lie in different areas than the problems, and quite often you even don’t have to know and understand the reasons why but can nevertheless find practical solutions. We will present you the friendly, elegant, fast and pragmatic approach, how to bring a solution to individual and social “problems”.
- ComTeam: Performance and products in 2008
- Conflicts and Mediation: When people are fully engaged in an organization, sometimes work disputes arise and fighting for asserting one’s own interests starts. Background, case studies and ways to solve this is the focus of the discussion here.
Open Atmosphere:These are the topics we would like to discuss in an open and relaxed form in changing small groups during several rounds. In the breaks there will be many opportunities for contacting others and to get to know each other. We will gladly invite you to snacks and drinks, which will be available during the whole day. Unfortunately the space in our hotel is limited, so we ask you to register and we will take the registrations in the order of their arrival.
