In the ancient traditions of the tribes in Central Europe, Easter holiday has always had a central role. The longing of the people for springtime, summer and sun has brought about many different ways of celebrating the victory of the summer sun over the night of winter, the awakening of nature.

Even here at the Tegernsee, winter is taking its leave and spring has come with a sparkling sun. How this looks like you can see on the following webcams, and - who knows - when you watch closely, may be you can even discover an Easter bunny here or there... :-)
